In-Home Theater

Welcome to LA, where Hollywood industry permeates all aspects of life. LA traffic and the availability of excellent A/V technology designed for the residential application have a growing number of people foregoing the hassle of a trip to the movie theaters.  And for some, an in-home theater is a requirement.  This client wanted the theater to showcase the quality that’s possible in this type of residential equipment, but he still wanted to maintain the sense of occasion that movie viewing holds for him. So we created a room that looked and felt like a real commercial theater.  This is a great example of not taking our spaces, or our selves, so seriously!  It’s good to have fun and to push the envelope a little bit when we design a room, especially one as unique as an in-home theater.  There are a few rules to follow and beyond that, the way you fill your space should be as personal to you as your wardrobe.
